In this week’s beauty blog, we’ve got a special guest blogger! Holly C. Corbett, writer and editor who has been published in national titles such as Women’s Health, Shape, Fitness, USA Today, CondeNastTraveler.com, MensHealth.com, Redbook.com and TravelChannel.com, shares her list for the best beauty products to bring along for packing!

Whether you’re jumping on an airplane to escape the winter weather or getting ready for spring break, packing toiletries can be tricky—especially if you’re trying to travel light with only a carry on. Still, you don’t want to skimp on your skincare routine because travel can do a number on your complexion.  Dry airplane air can cause flaky skin and clogged pores, and lack of sleep can make under-eye circles more prominent. Here are some of my favorite travel-friendly skincare products that will give you that post-vacation glow, even if you just got off of a red eye flight.

Picture 888Hydrating Mist. Algo Mist Hydrating Seaweed Facial Spray is a must for instantly refreshing your skin during a flight or to add a dewy rather than cakey look after touching up your makeup. Made with Laminaria Digitata seaweed, vitamin C, and aloe vera, your skin will drink up the antioxidants and moisturizing ingredients.

Eye Rescue Pads. Puffy eyes and dark circles don’t have to be one of your travel souvenirs. Repechage Eye Rescue Pads are ultra portable because they come in a leak-proof, lightweight container that you can easily throw into your purse. Place the pads on your eyes for 10 minutes in-flight or lay back on your hotel bed and reap the soothing and anti-aging benefits from ingredients such as green and black teas rich in natural anti-oxidant polyphenols.

Facial in a bag.The Vita Cura travel kit has everything you need to cleanse, brighten and moisture your complexion without taking up a lot of space in your luggage. It comes in a zipped plastic pouch and includes a cleanser, firming cream, serum, and toner. Each product is formulated with vitamins, minerals and amino acids to help feed your skin from the outside. The renewal toner with salicyclic acid helps exfoliate dead skin cells to ward off breakouts, which may be more common during the stressful holidays or changing climates.
