Why Seaweed?

You may be familiar with seaweed from eating sushi with friends or seeing it wash up on the shore when you are at the beach, but seaweed is one powerful ingredient. We bet you didn’t know that Russian scientists used brown seaweed to treat victims of the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe. The healing qualities of seaweed had been known for several centuries and as such, the USSR government instructed scientists to find an effective and powerful natural solution for the radiation poisoning of those affected. This is just one example of seaweed as a powerful botanical from the sea. Luckily for us, it is also a super ingredient when it comes to skin & beauty!
