You’re cleansing, you’re toning, you’ve even incorporated a serum into your skin care routine, but if you aren’t masking, you’re missing out! When chosen and applied correctly, utilising a facial mask 2-3 times a week can help bring moisture to the skin, draw out impurities, exfoliate, brighten, tighten and tone!
Just like the rest of your skin care routine, the mask you select should be appropriate for your skin type. For oily and problem skin types, regular masking is crucial to keeping your face clear of breakouts and blackheads. I recommend utilising a clay mask like the Hydra Medic Sea Mud Perfecting Mask. Just apply to a clean face, let it sit for 8-10 minutes (we like to file our nails and make a cup of Chamomile tea while we wait) and then remove by splashing your face with clean water. Masking can be the best way for you to exfoliate if you have sensitive skin.
