How To Get Your Feet Sandal Ready For Summer

If you’ve been fortunate with nice weather recently, you’ve probably been busting out your sandals already, open-toed shoes now part of your everyday wear? Here are our tips to ensure they are in tip top shape:

Tip 1: SCRUB — Rough cracked heels are not attractive to look at and are not comfortable either. To really target this issue – scrubbing your feet is a must. Use a pumice stone, like this one here that you can get from the drugstore. Pour an exfoliator on, like our Sea Spa Glow Exfoliator, which can also be used on your body – and scrub away at your heels. Do this every time you are in the shower.

Tip 2: SOFTEN — After the scrubbing comes nourishment. We love both our Sea Spa Foot Cream with Laminaria Digitata Seaweed, Lemon Oil, Rosemary Oil, Peppermint Oil, and Spearmint Oil to soften the skin, but also love our Vita Cura Triple Action Nutri Crème. Not only can this be used on your body, but it has glycolic acid to help exfoliate the bottoms of your feet even further.

DIY Spa Soothing Treatment — Apply a thick layer of Nutri Crème and wrap your feet in plastic wrap. This causes your body heat to increase which helps the products penetrate. You can leave this on as an intense overnight treatment or kick your feet up while you’re watching TV. You’d be amazed at how different your feet look and feel after this super-easy spa-like treatment!

Tip 3: CLEAN — Of course you should be cleaning your feet with soap and water, but from time to time you need to go beyond that and give your feet a deep cleanse.
